Personal training sessions may be one-to-one, or with groups of 2 or 3 on request.

Massage Therapy is an effective tool for physical and mental relaxation, pain relief, improved sleep quality and consequently improved recovery.

I offer massage therapy sessions at Lasyard House, Bridgnorth.

Sessions include a consultation, evaluation and write up.

£45/session – 45 minutes – Legs / Upper Body
£60/session – 1 hour – Full Body / Deep Tissue

Discounts available for block bookings, typically 5 sessions.

I can treat injuries indirectly, due to the effects of massage on the whole body.
However, I do not treat acute injuries directly.

I have ready-made comprehensive exercise routines I can give you for free.

As part of my PT service, I design personalised training routines that account for each client’s current goals, experience and ability.

Exercise programmesnutrition plans and research time are billed at £25/hour.
Time taken depends on the complexity of programme.
Basic personalised routines take 1-2 hours to produce.

waive some of the write up fees for regular, committed clients.

Makes use of available gym equipment.

Involves movement & lifting coaching, supported by mobility and rehab work as needed.

The Intro Session is more involved.

 

Intro Session

Longer than a Standard Session.

Includes screening and a needs assessment for building your exercise programme.

This means checking your posture, movement, symmetry, training experience, injury history and confidence, in order to provide you with the most suitable exercises to restore healthy movement and to allow you to progress safely and effectively.

Typically up to 1.5 hours.
£60/session

I will try to cover as much of the following as possible within the first session:

  • Posture and Movement
    standing, sitting, walking
  • Functional Movements
    bodyweight exercises: squat, lunge, row, press up, pull up
  • Mobility Exercises
    as needed to improve positioning and movement quality
  • Basic Compound Resistance Exercises
    using bodyweight, free weights or resistance machines
    including: Squat, Deadlift, Overhead Press, Bench Press, Row, Pull Up/Pull Down
  • Core Training
    tailored to your current abilities, as follows:
    fundamentals: Pelvic Floor Awareness and breathing & bracing strategy
    core stability work: Plank, Side Plank, Bird Dog, Suitcase Carry
    safe execution of spinal movements: Crunch, Oblique Crunch, Side Plank Raise, Swimmers
  • Flexibility Training
    stretches prescribed and adapted as needed,
    else we may use a comprehensive stretch circuit

 

Standard Session

This involves guiding you through your exercise programme.

£45/session – strictly 1 hour
£60/session – typically 1.5 hours, else “as long as you need”, time permitted

Discounts available for block bookings, typically 10 sessions.

stand-alone training session, focussing on whatever you want to work on.

Makes use of available gym equipment.

May involve movement & lifting coachingmobility / rehab work; trying new exercises, variations and/or advanced training techniques, like supersets, giant sets, drop sets, forced reps, negatives.

Standard rates apply:

£45/session – strictly 1 hour
£60/session – typically 1.5 hours, else “as long as you need”, time permitted

Discounts available for block bookings, typically 10 sessions.

Groups of 2-3 people are welcome, provided they have similar goals.

We'll design a routine to accommodate everyone, including alternating work-rest resistance training and circuits where appropriate.

The style of a group training session may be Progressive or One-Off (see respective tabs above for more details).

Group rates apply:

One-Off Session
£60/session – up to 1.5 hours

Progressive Session
£80
/session – full 2 hour session, plus individual write ups

The cost is split between 2-3, but the training and teaching time each client gets is similar to a one-to-one session – better value for all involved.

Makes use of any available home equipment.

Typically focuses on bodyweight exercises.
May make use of circuits.

Standard rates apply, factoring in travel time:

£45/session – strictly 1 hour
£60/session – typically 1.5 hours, else “as long as you need”, time permitted

Discounts available for block bookings, typically 10 sessions.

Makes use of any available home equipment.

Typically focuses on bodyweight exercises.
May make use of circuits.

Reduced rates apply, as remote work is not quite as effective as in-person coaching:

£40/session – strictly 1 hour
£55/session – typically 1.5 hours, else “as long as you need”, time permitted

Discounts available for block bookings, typically 10 sessions.
